Colin had a good day today! He, Mommy and LaLa went to see a movie. It wasnt the best movie so we ducked out early to the puppy store. Colin had a great long nap and then met his buddy Tyler at Pottery Barn Kids so Mommy's could shop (if shopping with a 2 and 2 1/2 yr old is really even shopping that is), followed by the train ride at the mall. Colin was SO excited to ride the train, he kept saying ride Thomas, ride Thomas, choo choo, whoo ooo, and waving saying bye people. Which is his new word, people. It's really funny! We all grabbed a bite to eat and headed to the baseball field to watch the daddy's play some softball. At which point both Mommy's were ready to go (Tyler's Mommy is also due with a boy in Nov). Colin's little brother's room is going to be a sports theme... as Parents hope that doesnt open the flood gates for Iowa stuff we dont need or want :) We have not started decorating the nursery and are waiting till its closer to Colin moving into his big boy room. We will be converting the back bedroom into Colin's room and the former office into a fun play room! Needless to say that leaves us with no more room! Luckily we have lots of hotels close by!!
