Colin and Caden got to ride the Polar Express this year!! Our Wild Life park puts on this great event! First we arrive with a craft event complete with ornament decorating, chocolate pretzel dipping, and even a bird of prey exhibit! Caden wanted to go and touch the bald eagle..of course. Then we all lined up in chairs as the conductor read the polar express book, a train bus took us to the train ride where the train told the rest of the story and took us through the preserve with all the decorated lights! Colin was in awww and Caden kept reaching out to grab the lights. After the train ride was over the boys got to meet Santa, have cookies, watch festive movies and there even was a bounce house! It was such a great night! Colin was such a big boy, he went right up to Santa and told him what he wanted for Christmas, then told me Mommy...Santa doesnt have Professor Z (a car from a movie), it was just so cute! Both boys got a polar express bell at the end from Santa. So far, Colin hates to wear snow pants and Caden falls over in his snow boots..should be interesting this year.
