Caden was a freight train surprise on 12/2/10. That day Mommy had her Dr. appt and the Dr. had said she was 3cm and things would come sometime not to worry. Mommy and Lala went out to have a nice dinner with no baby talk just to relax! Well the food was great and hot chocolate even better. Thanks Lala. Mommy came home to give Colin a bath, put to bed and decided to take a bath. Around 930pm is when I had trouble getting out of the tub and called Daddy (who went to softball) and told him to get home, called Lala who thought it was a false alarm :) and then got dressed..in a lot of pain. Called our neighbor Cyndi to come over and stay with Colin (who luckily was asleep) till Lala made it. We left in a hurry, told Daddy to blow 3 stoplights..and my water broke in the company car...oh boy. Made it to the hospital already at 8cm. Wanted something for the pain and they were starting to prep me but my Dr. came in and said the pain relief will be to push...I wanted to kill her. A few seconds later came Caden. He was gorgeous!! What a nice experience to have a full term baby that is so healthy!! Grammie and Grampie and Aunty Dana were able to hold him about 10 minutes after being born, and then Lala was able to head up too!! It was such a great night. 37 minutes from door to delivery.. Fast little man. Caden has been doing really well. Had his first well visit today coming in at 7lbs 8oz at 25-50% for weight, 75% for height and 25% for head. He is a little jaundice but Dr. said just keep an eye on it. He has his days and nights confused...but is eating great! Colin has been doing great with his little brother!! He is so excited to hang out with him, getting the pacifier, sharing his toys and being a great big brother! We are so lucky!
