Busy Week

Colin had his second music class on Monday. He took a music class when he was music younger. He instantly loved the class! The instructor greeted him with a funny mouse name Allegro and there were about 6 other kids in the class. It is a mom and tot class so I do stay and participate but Colin was front and center participating with his clapping, singing, and walking around the room like a train. Towards the end the instructor read a book and he had no hesitation going up with all the kids and was about sitting in her lap to read the story too! Wednesday Colin had his follow up Dr. appt to see if he was clear to fly. Although he still has a sinus infection and needs to stay away from pets, he was cleared to fly. The Dr. did give me some medication in case he gets an ear infection which always happens when we fly. Last year this time Colin came down with 4 major things when we went to IA and it was a rough trip, we are hoping this year it is a little bit better. Colin did such a great job at the Dr. this time, he stood on the scale, had his temp. taken, and even let the Dr. touch him and listen to his breathing without screaming bloody murder. It was GREAT! Then after the Dr. appt. we headed out to the gymnastics class at USA Gyms. He had such a fun time. It can be hard being the youngest one in the class and having to follow a routine most kids have done on the gymnastics course. But Colin did a great attempt at a cartwheel, handstand and backwards roll. His favorite was the trampoline, jumping into the ball pit and climbing the ladder to walk the balance beam. His class starts in August and we will be sure to get some pictures.
