Daddy was able to go and visit, Grandpa and Grandma Smith this past weekend to spend time with Grandpa Smith before his surgery. Grandpa Smith is such a fighter!! He did great with his long ( 8 1/2 hour throat cancer removal surgery) Grandpa Smith is already practicing trying to talk with a little help from an electrolarynx. They normally don't even start trying to teach them to talk until the third day, but Grandpa Smith is way ahead of schedule...but we already knew that would happen!! He is our superman!! We love you!!
